Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified and experienced Head Chef at a new 62-seater café-style restaurant and tapas-bar in Stellenbosch

Minimum Requirements & Key Duties:

• A diploma in professional cookery
• Previous experience as a Head Chef within a relaxed, open-plan kitchen environment
• The position requires a creative and a hands-on approach with a rustic and creative tapas and café-style cooking technique
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
• Previous pastry experience will be advantageous
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Excellent control of food cost, wastage, and kitchen preparation
• Guest & supplier liaison
• Staff training and development, coaching and disciplining
• Monitor and manage staff hours and productiveness

Remuneration: R18 000 pm

Start Date: Mid-November 2020
