Head of Account and Project Management

Location: Remote, Cape Town
Salary: R480k – R600k per annum

About the Role:
As Head of Account and Project Management, your role will be to lead the Account and Project Management team, as well as fulfil the role of Senior Project Manager on key projects as and when required.

Requirements:
Tertiary degree / diploma in a related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Digital Project Manager, running projects and working directly with a team of developers.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience running Website development projects.
Experience managing a project management team/direct reports
Keen understanding of digital marketing & services.
Account management experience is advantageous.
Digital Operations experience is advantageous.
SEO, Google Analytics & CRM software knowledge advantageous.

Duties:
Team Management Focus:
Organise and run project management statuses weekly.
Support the project management team in creating strong project budget management processes.
Assist project management team in managing their own capacity and hiring new team members
Gather project management feedback and contribute to the weekly management sessions.
Maintain an accurate and detailed project pipeline.
Production Focus:
Review and maintain the organization’s approach to the full life cycle of projects
Maintain objectivity around all deliverables across projects
Oversee the accuracy of project information used for management decisions
Ensure the project management team maintains an effective resource schedule
Profitability & Account Focus:
Assist the project management team identifying strategic opportunities
Review costing templates provided by the project management team.
Senior Account/Project Manager:
Run key projects identified or as capacity requires
Project Management:
Creating, maintaining and effectively executing all required documentation required
Act as an intermediary between the client and the internal production teams
Create, schedule and monitor project timelines and manage internal and external project expectations.
Track, monitor and report on project budgets, invoices and hours with the internal team and clients.
Identify and communicate project risks throughout project life cycles.
Account Management:
Build long term relationships with clients.
In collaboration with the strategy team, plan and implement digital strategies for clients
Work closely with internal development team members to propose solutions for client’s needs.
Creating and delivering contact reports.
Monitoring and reporting on retainer budgets
