Head of Outbound Call Centre - Cape Town
Work closely with the CEO on the call centre outbound process, helping to develop the cold calling strategy.
Recruiting and managing a team of cold calling and sales administration agents.
Lead from the front in terms of pipeline origination and ensure you successfully meet individual and team KPIs.
Mentoring as a player/coach to advance the team’s cold calling, prospecting and qualifying techniques, as well as follow-on tasks.
Manage the team successfully to ensure that all cold calling agents meet KPIs (cold calling numbers and number of demos booked in).
Ensuring that the CRM is kept up to date and lead details are accurately recorded.
Regularly reporting to the CEO on sales activity and KPI performance.
Collaborating with the Business Development Team and Marketing Team on sales strategy, execution and analysis.
Proven track record of building or managing a successful B2B SaaS cold calling team, ideally in the HR space but not essential.
10+ years’ experience working in call centre outound B2B SaaS sales.
Metrics and process driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting individual and team cold calling KPIs.
Ability to discover individuals with exceptional sales skills, motivate, train, coach and develop the team.
Excellent general verbal and written communication. In particular, you’re excellent on the phone and have tried and tested cold calling techniques.
You are a self-starter and able to come up with and execute your own ideas.
You’re proactive, ambitious and commercially orientated.
Attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Good communication skills and a strong manager.
You have experience using a CRM to manage your team’s pipeline
