The Head of Production will be based at the global manufacturing site in Boksburg and report to the
Factory Operations Director. They are responsible for managing the throughput of the plant in its entirety, whilst at the same time playing an instrumental role in transitioning the operation to world class manufacturing.

The successful candidate will have experience managing diverse teams with varying capabilities in a fast paced, technical production environment. This is a “hands-on” role, and the Head of Production will spend the majority of her/his time in the factory ensuring efficiencies across the entire operation.

Specifically, the Head of Production will be required to:

• Ensure the consistent operation and performance of all mixing and filling operations
• Drive the teams to meet manufacturing schedules on time and in fulll
• Identify and mitigate risks across all spheres of manufacturing, including occupational health and
safety and quality
• Maintain ISO standards and OHS requirements
• Identify and lead capability/skills development within the facility
• Support in the industrialization of new product development
• Identify and lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement across the facility
• Lead a team developing excellence in line management and people engagement

The successful candidate will have a university degree, preferably Engineering, as well as a proven track
record in production management & leadership roles, with a minimum of 15 years experience in FMCG.
