You will incorporate all facets of the risk and trading involved in a sports betting business. This includes margin management, customer onboarding risks and recruitment and training. Your key job responsibilities as the Head of Risk & Trading in Cape Town will include:

- Managing trading interface and strategy in line with global business KPI’s and metrics
- Developing and monitoring margin targets in line with business KPI’s
- Managing 3rd party involvement on the trading and risk side
- Developing margin profiles across the business and developing personalization on the market offering
- Competitor analysis to ensure book is traded competitively in the market
- Developing KYC policies in line with legislation and business goals
- Work with marketing to ensure profitability on all marketing campaigns and retention campaigns
- Ensuring staff arrive and complete full shifts without issues. Monitoring of staff during shifts may be required
- Work with customer support to manage any risks associated with dealing with customers
- Recruitment and Training

Requirements for this Head of Risk & Trading job in Cape Town:

- A minimum of 5 years of trading and risk management
- 3+ years of experience in managing people
- Experience in the gambling and sports betting space is essential
- Fluency in English is essential and any other languages is beneficial
- A relevant degree or diploma
- Must be a team player
- Work well under pressure and be results driven
