Head of Sales (Retail) Individual Consulting

Build an individual client distribution capability and significant grow individual client numbers within the pre-retirement and accumulation segments from corporate membership base This will include the achievement of high-volume product sales targets and service standards. Develop and execute a high volume’s sales capability and strong enabling support structure for broader member engagement initiatives. Report directly into the Head: Individual Consulting and be a member of the Individual Consulting Manco.

• Drive the aggressive recruitment of sales staff over next 3 years
• Driving profitable sales volume and service within defined developed or sourced product sets
• Implement annual sales and service distribution, plans and budgets in alignment with the group strategy and growth aspiration
• Accountable for maintaining, updating, and reporting on all sales activities, pipeline management and conversion rates
• Developing and implementing a sales and service model that supports the other individual consulting advice business
• Support the development and sourcing of suitable products and solutions
• Drive the sales and retention of assets across key default solutions
• Achieve an excellent, consistent customer experience across channel – both at an individual client and corporate/fund level
• Ensure the daily outcomes aligned to an integrated sales and service distribution channel capability
• Appropriately skilling and adequately resourcing the team with high impact sales individuals
• Develop, implement, and maintain a sales incentive model that:
• Drives high volume sales within target segment
• Refers leads an opportunity not within segment to other advice business within Individual Consulting
• Drives direct sales efforts within default solutions where advice is not required or opted out
• Ensure daily effective risk management and governance of the team - including compliance standards and all necessary reporting
• Key individual FPC management oversight of the sales and service activities, including the performance of compliance function, specifically with respect to FAIS and supervision requirement

• Tertiary qualification, i.e. BCom (majors in Financial Management or Administration, Marketing
• 5 - 10 years’ experience in sales management role
• RE 1 and RE 5 (must be a KI) essential
• Wealth Management experience essential
• CFP will be beneficial
