A Health and Safety Manager position has become available in the SHERQ Department, based in Kwa Zulu Natal.
This is a fast - paced but friendly environment that will suit an organized person with a great eye for detail.

The purpose of the job is to manage the Field Safety and Product Stewardship programs to ensure the protection of the health and safety of our associates, customers, contractors and public.

The incumbent will be required to perform functions over a wide area, inclusive of the office site as well as our Sales Division sites in and around South Africa.
Qualifications:
• A qualification in Health and Safety Environment is required.
• Accredited SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, HIRA, Incident investigation is required.
• A BSc or equivalent in Chemistry/Engineering would be an advantage.
Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ safety experience in a chemical or related process manufacturing industry.
• Must have a strong Occupational safety background.
• Must have strong Environmental background.
