Job Title: Health Specialist (Advisor)

Purpose statement: Provide advice clients on medical scheme and Gap products and sell options to client
Reports to: General manager

Duties
New business
• Contact prospects to sign up on medical scheme and Gap products
• Provide Quotations and advice clients of best suitable options for their needs
• Sign up clients with relevant product providers
• Assist in year- end reviews and option changes
• Clients are individuals and Corporates
• Adhere to compliance rules

B. Com (Investment Management) / B. Com (Finance) / equivalent
Fluent in Afrikaans and English
NQF5
RE5
Accreditation with CMS
Licensed for Short Term Personal lines and Health Products
At least 5 years consulting experience on medical Schemes, Health Insurance and Gap Cover

Knowledge
Microsoft Office
Experience in the medical scheme and short-term industry
Sound knowledge of the various ACTs impacting in the Medical Scheme and short -term industries
Must be able to work on various internet applications
Knowledge of Broker Tools Application
