Short Term Insurance BDC’s, with relevant industry qualifications and minimum 2 years’ experience in selling short term insurance, preferably to High-Net Worth Individuals, required to grow this elite client base and advise primarily on motor and household domestic insurance.

Minimum requirements:
• Grade 12 essential
• Relevant FAIS accreditation as set by the FSCA required
• RE5 essential
• Up to date Class of Business and relevant CPD points required
• 2-3years’ experience in selling short term insurance products essential
• Own transport and valid license essential

Responsibilities:
• Commercial Insurance new business development
• Source lead generating opportunities to ensure minimum 10 quotes/week and minimum 40 quotes/month
• 9 written policies required/month
• Manage lead generation process via group presentations, one on one consultations, corporate events, advertising and networking
• Needs analysis once quote is requested
• Product and competitor comparisons
• Sign up minimum of 5 active lead referral agents
• Reporting on leads, quotes, sales, source of leads, premium, etc
