Experienced HOD Maths and/or Physics Teacher with an Entrepreneurial Spirit

ASSIST IN THE TRAINING OF TUTORS, THE DEVELOPMENT OF COURSE CONTENT AND THE DELIVERY OF LESSONS

Basic Salary: R15 000 to R20 000 per month neg. plus Performance Bonuses

Starting Date: 1 June 2021

Do you have 20 + years of experience in teaching with a portion of that as HOD or a similar position?

Maturity and experience will be essential attributes to meeting the needs of this position.

We are looking for an individual who has the mental, emotional and intellectual capability to help us build this essential organization of change. We have laid the foundation over the past 35 years and now I need to build the right TEAM to help us develop and manage our Tutors and the structures to bring it to fruition.

Obviously all the necessary administrative, PA, leadership, organisational and communication skills are a prerequisite for this position but what is most important is that you will find fulfilment for your own inner drive, purpose and need to bring hope, guidance and solutions to millions of academically deprived youth. A caring, loving, outgoing yet firm disposition must combine with your efficiency in the other required attributes stated above. Yes, there is a basic but this is not a job. It is a work of passion and love for the upliftment and development of our youth.
In short, the right candidate will form part of an executive team of 4 that together are responsible for the growth and maintenance of our Founders Vision. In particular, your main role will be on the Academic side, and in this position you will be the Founder’s Righthand Person, assisting with the development of the product and the growing and developing of the Tutor Base. You must be able to effectively manage the academic operation in his absence.
