Seeking a responsible English home-language young lady (>23 years) to fulfil a number of roles to an international Hospitality (and Tourism) Training Consultant. The job is threefold:

1. Providing support for development of hospitality training materials aimed at different hospitality businesses in a range of developing countries, predominantly in South East Asia. This job element requires excellent MS Word and PowerPoint skills, attention to detail, research and critical thinking skills, written communication skills, and a solid understanding of hospitality operations across rooms division and food and beverage.
2. Household management: providing support to manage domestic staff, run errands, manage vehicles, and various ongoing activities required by a busy household. Strong admin skills are needed for this element.
3. Logistical support for two young teenagers including coordination of their extra-mural activities and looking after the teens when the consultant is overseas. Overnight and weekend time is therefore also required as part of the position as per the consultant’s travel schedule once international travel is allowed again post-Covid-19. This is a critical part of the job as the consultant is frequently overseas for up to three weeks at a time. Matric subjects including Maths and Science is an advantage to provide basic guidance on Maths, Science and English to the teens who are homeschooled. As these teens are girls, only women will be considered for this position.

Job requirements:
• English or Afrikaans as a home language
• Excellent Microsoft skills (Word and PowerPoint)
• A hospitality qualification would be an asset
• English writing and critical reading/reviewing skills, and an ability to research, collate and present information are essential.
• Other important skills are attention to detail, organisation and efficiency, time management, communication skills, work prioritisation and handling pressure.
• Good tech skills are an advantage.

This is a live-in position for a single person only; accommodation in a small apartment is provided as part of the remuneration package. Please note that this position will be available from 1 September 2020.
