Our automotive dealer client is looking to employ an experienced Hostess/Barista for their coffee shop based in Sandton.

The incumbent is responsible to fully run and manage the coffee shop by providing a bespoke experience to customers as well as serving as the Brand Ambassador for the company by creating a welcoming yet professional image of the business.
Responsible for receiving visitors, greeting, welcoming, escorting them to the coffee shop, making them comfortable and offering them refreshments.

Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12 is essential
• Certified Barista course from a Professional institution
• A Qualification related to the Hospitality industry would be an advantage
• At least 2-year experiences in a similar role as a junior coffee shop manager coupled with excellent Barista experience.

Key areas of responsibility include:
1. Superior Customer Experience - Always be punctual and professional as this role serves as the customer experience brand ambassador who essentially determines the engagement that a client will receive at the showroom. Develop the customer journey for the coffee shop to make the clients and employees visit a memorable one.

2. Coffee Shop Management –identifying the service providers, menu, cost structure, profitability

3. Stock Control - Manage and take complete responsibility for the inventory.

4. Financial Administration - Ensure effective cost management through daily digital recording coupled with a weekly recon to be sent to the operations manager for review. Monthly financial profit/loss report to be sent to the Finance Manager.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance - Ensure that the coffee work station is setup according to standard operating procedure and that the machines and grinders are clean and are calibrated before service.
