RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking an experienced HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR (LIVE-OUT) - position based in Pietermaritzburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Grade 12 (NQF 4).
Valid Code 08 driver’s license.
Person must be English speaking (read / write / speak English competently).
Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Previous experience on SAP experience.
2yrs+ experience in a similar position.
Must be able to run the housekeeping department together with the housekeeper and in their absence.
Would only suit an energetic, fit person.
Excellent communication skills.
Innovative team player.
Strong leadership / management experience.
Check rooms according to company standards and policies.
Build and maintain a working environment where staff are fully trained, supportive of each other and competent.
Monitor maintenance needs and contractors performance throughout the rooms, public, front of house and back of house areas.
Work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards.
Assist with ordering of stock and stock takes for this department, include rostering, assigning tasks, monitoring guest supply and requests, recording room losses and implementing corrective actions.
Complete all paperwork as dictated by the company.
Ensure all policies are followed according to the hotel audit procedures for housekeeping.

Salary package offered: - R6 000-00 per month (no benefits offered)
