To manage the human capital within the organization, assist employees with general HR related queries, and support management in HR processes.

Duties and responsibilities

Recruitment & Selection.
Induction of new employees.
Ensure that the company complies with all legislative requirements.
Performance Management.
Drafting of contracts and ensuring that fixed term contracts are monitored and renewed where applicable.
Industrial relations.
Assisting the Finance Manager with Payroll.
Managing medical aid (Bestmed) & Gapcover as well as helping employees with any queries regarding Bestmed and/or Gapcover.
Managing the leave register and processing leave on Pastel Payroll.
Compilation of the WSP & ATR.
Ensuring that training & development is implemented where needed as well as recording of all of the training done.
Liaising with Cartrack to ensure that all Cartrack units are installed or deinstalled where necessary.
Input all employee data into SAP and ensure that any changes are made.
General HR administrative tasks.

Knowledge & Skills

Experience in Pastel Payroll (desirable).
Experience in SAP (desirable).
MS Office.
Computer Literate.

Qualifications

Matric.
HR Diploma/Degree.
