HR Assistant - Nelspruit

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the HR Department to;
Ensure the effective and efficient implementation of people processes, policies and procedures aligned with labour legislation, best practices and the strategic goals of the business.
Legislative Compliance Work Permit Administration
Provide support to the HR Department and Management on people related practices and principles
Employee Relations
Policies & Procedures administration
Assistance with Learning, Skills & Development
Leave and Absenteeism administration
Payroll & Employee Benefits administration
Record keeping & statistics

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
National Senior Certificate Degree/Qualification in Human Resources/studying towards one
3 plus years’ experience in an Assistant HR Officer/Generalist role
High degree of interpersonal ability
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication in English/Afrikaans and one other African language
