Job Description:

To ensure sound employee relations and build and maintain a positive relationship between the Company and the employees of the company.
To be an objective role to ensure fair, ethical and transparent processes for all Human Resources matters.
Assist with all recruitment and disciplinary matters, performance management
Implement and manage the company’s employee training and development strategy
Advisor and support for company and management on all levels and including all branches
Provide human resources technical advice and guidance to both internal and external clients
Management of HR administration and ensure that all comply with the company’s policies and procedures
Manage all Industrial Relations processes with relation to performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Ensure that all leave records are updated and maintained on an ongoing basis and that queries are adhered to
Ensure that all leave is being actioned appropriately.
Lead the recruitment and selection process of new staff.
Archiving HR documents.
Manage the administration of all the training and development initiatives.
Oversee and manage all the employee benefits for the companies
Maintaining relationships with staff and third parties by taking the responsibility to manage and resolve conflict to mitigate inherent tension in the work environment.
Ensure that all payroll input and output has been actioned accurately and timeously and that month end reports are drafted and reviewed as part of the monthly controls.
Ensure the annual submission of All Group Companies’ Workplace Skills Plans.
Preparing documents to communicate specific human resource procedures.
Draft and update HR policies and train employees on it.
Draft, update and implement Induction Programmes for All Group Companies.
Provide feedback to CEO on any HR/IR issues of significance or needing their action.
Provide counselling to staff that require confidential support in business related matters.
Conduct psychometric testing to assist in the recruitment and staff development process.
Prepare documentation associated with Job Offers, Employment Contracts and Job Descriptions.
Maintain and update personnel information.
Manage relationships with the relevant SETAs.
Conduct HR audits
Maintain performance management system and ensures that key performance areas are measures are kept update and agree upon
Must have dealt with department of labour
Recruitment of staff including Job Descriptions, Reference Checks and Contracts.
Final approval on any Leave for all staff and administration thereof
Involved with evaluations for staff in conjunction with the relevant Manager
Ensure that all staff understand and comply with Companies Policies and Procedures.
Assist with any Disciplinary Procedures
Involved with the decision regarding increases and bonuses paid to staff.
Approve advances and any deductions from staff salary
Training -Source external training and ensure records are kept of both internal and external training given to staff.
Complete SETA documents and attend meetings with SETA consultants.
Complete Employment Equity documents and submit online.
Confirm Employment with Banks on request.
Recruit and appoint Learners and administer Learnership programme which includes scheduling the internal and external training for Learners
Attend Management meetings at the request of Management.

Qualifications:

Grade 12 plus Diploma or B-Degree in HR Management
Computer literate
Objective and professional
High confidentiality & ethics
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Afrikaans
High attention to detail
Own vehicle and driver’s license
SAGE Payroll
SAGE ESS Online payroll module
Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Human Resource Management is essential.
A relevant post graduate qualification in Human Resources Management would be an advantage.
Excellent computer skills with knowledge of MS Office package.
Knowledge of current labour and employee tax laws is essential
