The Divisional Head: HR & OD is charged with overseeing all aspects of Strategic Human Resources Management, Remuneration & Benefits and Operations in order to meet the needs of the constantly evolving business. The role will include: building upon the organisation’s current people programs and service delivery strategies, enhancing organizational decision-making and approaches for securing capacity and efficiency, advising on Strategic HR interventions & matters, change management, and organizational design.
Reporting to the Municipal Manager, the Divisional Head: HR & OD is an active member of the Senior Management Committee as well as a key executive partner.
Education required:
• BCom degree in Human Resources (preferably Honours), Administration, or other relevant field.
• SABPP/IPM or any Recognised HR Professional Body Certification (current).
Experience required:
• 5-10 years of working experience in a senior Human Resources position
• Positions held would include: Snr HR Business Partner, Director - Training and Development, Head of HR Administration, Head of Recruiting,
or similar.
• Local Government Experience is a minimum requirement.
