Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding (60%)
• Full end to end recruitment function at all levels.
• Managing projects to proactively build our candidate database, especially for strategically critical roles.
• Conducting candidate searches (via LinkedIn or any other source).
• Conduct pre-employment checks.
• Compile and discuss HR welcome packs with new employees.
• Conduct exit interviews.
Talent Management
• Assist line managers with internal talent pool development processes.
• Ensure that each employee has a completed Performance Development review.
Industrial Relations
• Understand and apply the relevant legislation, policies and procedures (e.g. SIG ER Policy, BCEA, LRA).
• Assist line managers and employees with the interpretation and the administration of any IR/ER issues, e.g. disciplinary and grievance procedures.
General HR Admin
• Administrative support to the HR Manager.
In order to be considered for the position, the following requirements must be met:
• Minimum 3-5 years recruitment and HR related experience
• Proficient in MS Office packages
• Relevant HR related Degree
• IR and BBBEE exposure
• In-house recruitment is advantageous
