Our client is seeking a HR Officer based in Epping. Are you ready for a challenge?
You will be assisting the company to have a productive and efficient workforce by processing and administrating all daily HR processes for the various sites, maintaining a positive culture and ensuring that the company remains legally compliant in terms of Labour Law.
Please note: Working hours is 07h00 - 16h00 (45 hour week) based in Epping and 1 day per week you need to travel to another branch +- 15 KM away.

Duties will include, but not limited to: -
General HR Administration: - Keeping employee files up to date in line with company policy
Recruitment:- Advertising and sourcing quality applicants via recruitment agency
Training co-ordination and administration thereof, liaising with external training providers, keeping record for workplace skills plan
IR: Support and implementing disciplinary sanctions and info onto the system, preparing information for disciplinary hearings and process thereof etc.
Consultative HR duties: employee liaison, assist management with queries, revise and re write job specs if needed, advice on performance management issues
Payroll (VIP): assist if and when any assistance is needed by payroll department - backup for processing of salaries and wages on VIP
HR Legal: Annual EE reporting, Skills development reporting, COIDA reporting.

Desired Experience & Qualification
• Minimum a Degree (IDEALLY) or related Diploma in Human Resources.
• At least 3 years of proven experience of assisting line managers of different divisions.
• Experience of working in a labour intensive FMCG environment
• Advanced knowledge of HR related legislation and best practice
• Experience of working with Payroll (VIP Premier Payroll System) as a backup if needed
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Valid Driver’s license and own vehicle essential!

The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and have a sense of urgency, be confident and assertive while respecting dignity when dealing with staff.
