Job Description:

The main purpose of this position is to take primary responsibility for providing a comprehensive, proactive, customer focussed operational HR support and generalist service to the Group Human Resource Manager.

Be informed and keep up to date with the South African labour legislation.
Assist with the development /refinement of policies and procedures, in line with key areas of responsibility.
Ensure that all staff members are aware of the Human Resources procedures regulations and processes, and that employees have access to it.
Monitor and attend, when necessary, worker committee and EE committee meetings.
Support the Group HR Manager to conduct staff exit interviews to minimize the staff turnover and retain good performers.
Manage all the administration of terminations, transfers, promotions.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years’ relevant experience in human resources.
An accredited certificate, degree, diploma or other relevant qualification relating to Human Resources.
Training in and experience as a Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) would be an advantage; alternatively, would need to be willing to be trained as an SDF.
VIP Premier/Sage 300 People exposure
Excellent planning, organising and time-management skills
