This position will be based at the Head Office in Parow reporting into the Managing Director. The ideal candidate would have a relevant qualification with specific skills and experience in.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the Company Health, Safety and environment portfolio,
• Ensuring and aiming for Zero LTA rate
• Ensuring controls are properly implemented and sustained to achieve safe work practice and in general safety to all throughout the company;
• Environmental, Aspects and impact reviews and corrective measures;
• Training in safeguarding employees and ensuring understanding of all HSE related legislation and machine competence;

Qualifications/Experience:

• Grade 12 / or equivalent qualification
• Appropriate Diploma/B Tech/and or Degree in Health and Safety/or in process of getting a formal qualification.
• 10 years working experience in a Health and Safety and Environmental management, preferably at management level.

Other:

• Good strong HSE acumen
• Strong managerial, leadership and communication skills
• Sound knowledge of HSE regulation and legislation in a manufacturing environment
• Additional duties as deemed necessary
