One of our clients, a leader in the agriculture industry, is looking for a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven individual to take up the position of Human Resources Administrator and become a part of their team!

Requirements:

Appropriate recognized bachelor’s degree / National Diploma or equivalent three-year qualification (NQF6 with at least 360 credits) preferably in Human Resources with at least 18 months experience within the Human Resources environment.
Preference may be given to candidates with exposure in the agricultural and or animal feeds industry.
Good customer relations skills.
Be able to deal with confidential matters with integrity.
Excellent interpersonal relations.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Must be analytical and thorough-ability to detect errors.
Ability to prioritize work and urgent matters.
Ability to function independently and to take responsibility and initiative.
Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
Effective problem-solving skills. Adhering to business ethics.
Effective teamwork.
MS Office Excel Intermediate – Advanced will be an advantage
Knowledge of BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDL Strong knowledge and ability to put HR policies and procedures in place and ensure the adherence to them.
SAP knowledge is required, and knowledge of Sage 300 will be an added advantage

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

The incumbent will be an Administrator that will be responsible for a wide variety of administrative tasks which includes, but is not limited to the following:
Render HR administrative support to all factories
Administer the appointment process from LOA to medical aid, retirement etc
Administer all benefits for employees
Administer the termination process on the system
Deal with audit queries
Process rewards information by capturing on SAP as presented on ATA, LOA, Movement Forms etc.
Preparation of promotion/demotion, org re-assignment, salary adjustments, thereafter updating SAP & communicating changes to payroll
Apply changes to employees’ salaries and benefits.
Input payroll information for processing, e/g/ resignations, appointments, change of bank details, etc.
Update SAP-HR with changes to position eg cost centre changes, org management changes etc.
Resolve system payroll errors (including IRP5s)
Document IODs on the system as processed by branch admin
Advise payroll on AWOL's communicated by branch admin which impacts salary payment
Administration of Pension and Provident Fund for new engagements, changes, requests and withdrawals.
Gathering of information for processing death claims with NBC and Sanlam
Gathering and processing the registration of disability claims.
Create of provisional pay slip for identified potential employee
Drafting appointment letters for signature, organizing hire packs for new employee and liaising with identified new employee before start date
Handle general queries for employees
Monthly and ad-hoc HR reports
Training reports quarterly
