RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced HYDRAULIC HAMMER TECHNICIAN for a large concern – position based in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands area.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Grade 12.
Valid Code 08 driver’s license.
English / Zulu speaking.
Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
3yrs previous experience in hydraulic repairs is essential.
5yrs previous experience with diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and servicing.
Experience with component rebuilds.
Ability to clean and inspect hydraulic and mechanical parts for failure.
Ability to read and comprehend workshop manuals.
Must be able to assemble parts as per manuals.
Must possess ability to read hydraulic circuits.
Strong commitment towards safe work practices – utilize safe dismantling procedures on machinery.
Maintain, service and repair hydraulic components and related equipment / tools…
Refurbishment of equipment
Ensure fleet is kept roadworthy and in safe working condition.
Ensure fleet is services and maintained according to manufacturer’s requirements.
Check correctness of replacement and service parts as well as oils and lubricants.
Maintain accurate records of services and repairs, ensure all records are forwarded for processing.
Correspond and keep relevant parties updated with regard to projects and progress thereof.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and all related repairs.
Manage fellow employees assisting with related duties.
Must be willing to travel.
