Looking for 168 Auditors to work on a 5-day project.
A noteworthy organisation that plays a significant role in our South African democracy is looking for 168 Auditors to work on a 5-day project. They are a permanent body created by the Constitution to manage free and fair elections at all levels of government. They are in charge of undertaking and promoting research into electoral matters, developing and promoting the development of electoral expertise and technology, as well as promoting voter education and many other similar aspects.
Be available on cell-phone and provided email address throughout the contract period.
Be available for training during the month of September for about a day or two. (Dates to be confirmed)
Have access to internet connection throughout the contract period as well as the training period.
Be present at the specified venue during the contract period. This does include work outside of 8am to 5pm.
Complete all the relevant documents and working papers in the prescribed manner by the prescribed dates. (These will be provided and trained on).
Compare the captured results slips on the computer with the hard copy from which the information was captured and “audit” this by inputting a pin number (a unique personal identification number, or pin number, per auditor) to verify that the hard copy and the captured version contain exactly the same information.
Responsible for the resolution of referrals to office staff of problems or exceptions that have been identified in the comparison of the hard copies with the captured versions of the results slips.
Responsible, for ensuring that results slips are efficiently administered during the capturing and auditing process (to prevent the loss or misplacement of results slips during the capturing and auditing process). This includes the effective filing of all results slips so as to allow for the efficient retrieval of results slips in the investigation and resolution of results exceptions.
Must continue until all results have been completed, including the auditing of results that have been referred back due to a capturing error or a results exception (a pre-defined quality check on results) that need resolution.
