Sovereign Foods, a national supplier of top quality locally produced chicken products to the SA market via various brands, is seeking to employ an Information Systems Manager for its operations in Uitenhage.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and interested candidates for this position at the Group Services Division. The Information Systems Manager is responsible for supporting business operations through ensuring systems are operational, well implemented and providing actionable information through Business Intelligence initiatives.

A minimum of a tertiary qualification in Information Technology (Software Development) or CTI equivalent and 5 years’ proven experience with Information Systems is essential, as well as proven experience in leading technical teams and working with TSQL, C#.Net, cube experience, Kimball methodology, SSIS and drafting SSRS reports. Previous experience with Syspro and Innova will be advantageous.

• Oversee and maintain up time for business critical systems
• Synchronize system administration by keeping master data consistent across different platforms

• Manage 3rd party system liaison, administration and integration
• Oversee and action helpdesk tickets timeously
• Interact with project owners and end users during project development
