Sovereign Foods is looking for an individual to assume the responsibilities of Information Team Leader based on their Gauteng operations based in Pretoria West. The successful incumbent will report directly to the Plant Manager. A minimum of 3 years working experience with Production Information Systems and NQF level 5 certificate in Information Systems is essential. This position carries a TASK grade T08.

RESULTS REQUIRED:

• Accurate and adequate record-keeping and information storage systems in place
• Maintaining and streamlining data collection points
• Timeous preparation and presentation of accurate, concise reports
• Ensure systems are verified periodically to ensure integrity of data
• Continually seek to consolidate databases where possible to eliminate large number of data storage systems and possible redundancy

CRITICAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Excellent knowledge of all poultry production processes
• Strong analytical skills and ability to take corrective action
• Excellent communication skills
• High degree of computer literacy
