Insurance Executive

Our client, a Financial Services Group seeks to employ an experienced, dynamic, Savvy Insurance Executive to head up their Commercial Insurance Brokerage division.

Qualification and Experience:
Relevant tertiary qualification.
Relevant Insurance related qualifications and Accreditations (including FAIS).
Minimum 3-5 years in a Senior Management role within an Insurance company
Commercial Insurance and short term insurance experience essential
Excellent technical knowledge of insurance products and industry trends

Duties & Responsibilities:
Conversion of existing client base in other divisions
Develop and execute new business strategies
Ensure Operational effectiveness
Responsible for the divisional budget
Manage staff to achieve divisional targets
Develop and maintain client relationships
Provide insightful and strategic advice to clients
Ensuring profitability of portfolio
Keep up to date with relevant legislation and insurance trends
Financial reporting
Risk management
