JOB PURPOSE
To assume strategic and operational responsibility for the firm’s Technical and quality assurance programme that has been designed specifically to transform the current maturity of internal audit and consulting competencies across the Southern African region. In addition, the incumbent will also be expected to participate in the conduct of independent quality assurance reviews for allocated internal audit clients of the firm from time to time. The incumbent will also be required to support/deliver on:
Product development
Thought Leadership
Enterprise Risk Management
Compliance
Independent Quality Assurance reviews, maturity assessments, governance reviews.
This position reports to the Technical and Quality Assurance Director.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPEREINCE
• Relevant Degree/Post Graduate Qualification.
• CA (SA)CIA/CISA/MBA
• MS Office Suite
• Minimum of 10years working experience in a large/well recognized internal auditing firm and/or consulting environment. The majority of this time should have been spent in a quality control role
• Minimum of 5 years of middle and/or senior management within the said environment
• Additional specialist certifications in internal auditing (e.g. accreditation QAR) consulting, corporate governance, risk management, and/or compliance would be an advantage.
