RS Recruitment Services is assisting a well-established organisation in the IT HARDWARE & SOFTWARE DISTRIBUTION industry to recruit an INTERNAL SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER to be based at their offices in RIVERHORSE VALLEY, DURBAN – approximately R6 000 to R8 000 basic + commission.

OUR CLIENT HAS BEEN IMPORTING AND DISTRIBUTING LEADING EDGE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COMPONENTS THROUGHOUT SOUTH AFRICA SINCE THE LATE 1980’s

Overall Purpose of the Position

Develop and implement internal sales strategies to meet sales targets.

The ideal candidate should be/have the following:

A minimum of 3 years internal sales experience.
IT industry experience, essential.
A sales and marketing qualification, an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Live in the greater Durban area.

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

Generate sales leads by cold calling via phone, social media, email and other available channels.
Develop sales strategies – sales forecasting and planning.
Develop targeted campaigns to increase product pipeline.
Prepare proposals.
Prepare and deliver telephonic and web-based presentations.
Maintaining knowledge and awareness of trends in the industry.
Regularly update customer information.
Support external sales representatives.

Remuneration:

R6 000 to R8 000 basic + commission
