JOB BRIEF:

Our client, a progressive Vinyl Signage Supplies company is looking for a talented and competitive internal sales professional who thrives in a quick sales cycle environment. The position is one of utmost importance and seeks a dynamic brand ambassador who will be the first point of contact with customers have with the business. You are expected to be polite, work with great accuracy and efficiency at all times, ensuring maximized performance, growth and success of the company’s Internal Sales Department, for the purpose of maximising customer service and profitably of the department.

REQUIREMENTS: The suitable applicant is required to meet the following:

• Matric essential
• Must reside in or around the Pretoria North area
• Proven Internal Sales experience (at least 2 to 3 years required) in a signage supplies environment
• Strong knowledge of signage Vinyl’s and its sizes essential
• Proficient in MS Office essential
• Pastel experience will be an advantage
• Track record of over-achieving quota
• Strong phone presence
• Experience working with Salesforce
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong listening and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

DUTIES: the ideal applicant will be required to perform the following duties and should display the below listed KPA’s in their CV’s and during the interview.


• Handle full internal sales functions including sales coming in from walk-in clients as well as telephonic, and email requests.
• Relationship management and growth
• Identify customer needs and provide need satisfaction offerings
• Handling queries on new products as well as dealing general customer queries.
• Advising customers regarding stock availability, explaining product benefits to customers (on the phone and walk-in)
• Prepare quotations, including cut-to-size (customized) substrate quotes
• Processing of orders
• Set up and regular updating of contact details for customers, email, telephone, fax and postal addresses
• Ensure that customer service standards are adhered to
• Ensure that internal sales department performance objectives are achieved
• Assist in monthly stock takes and ensure all variances accounted for.
• Preparing/Compiling brochures, samples, hand-outs, and other marketing material
• Ensure efficiency with company’s invoicing system – currently Pastel.
• Receiving Cash payments management/accounting thereof.
• Attending Sign Exhibitions & Events
• Any general duties handed to you by management.
