INTERNAL SALES SUPERVISOR – Alrode, Alberton

Manufacturing company based in Alberton, looking for an Internal Sales Supervisor:
• To plan, direct, and co-ordinate supportive services of the branch.
• In addition to this, oversee the day-to-day administrative operations, in charge of the department's functions, as well as, supervising and supporting staff.
• The goal is to ensure all support activities are carried on efficiently and effectively to allow the other operations to function properly and to provide an Internal Sales function which includes but is not limited to: Processing of orders, quotes to customers, assistance to External Sales Representatives, Query solving, Assistance with Collection Customers

DUTIES:
• Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline collection/ delivery processes.
• Assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Ensure that Admin(Internal) Standard of 3% is met, maintained and /or improved. Continuous reduction of credits and pricing queries. Pricing to be uploaded on SharePoint.
• Manage pricing schedules and promotional drives/ deadlines in conjunction with Sales and Procurement strategies.
• Facilitate/ monitor the reporting/ resolving of queries/ tasks to assist the External Sales Managers in daily operations that may involve the external sales activities.
• Customer Relationship Management and development of Social Media Interaction.
• Ensuring that the Opened Sales report is maintained on a weekly basis. Not more than a 1-month lag on Quotes, 2-month lag on Open Sales and 3-months on back orders (unless if stock is not available)
• Ensuring Customer satisfaction by ensuring reduced/maintained time spend at Collections. Enhancing processes, staff availability to ensure that customers spend no longer than 25 minutes on Average.
• Policies and procedures; training; attention to detail; presentation of department and staff and instilling of trust and integrity and staff wellbeing. Team building session.
• Barcoding - ensure necessary notes are put on to the picking slips
• Ensuring of effective communication back to clients at collections – keep them informed of their order status.
• Training and maintain showroom setting and presentation.

Skills / Experience:
• Matric PLUS Proficient in MS Office (advanced preferably)
• 5 years - Call Centre or similar experience of which 2 years’ minimum - as Sales/Customer Service Supervisory related experience orientated or similar field.
• Exposure to fast moving consumer goods advantageous
• Experience within a product driven business environment
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Optional - Tertiary Business Qualification in Administration or relative field

• Excellent verbal/written communication
• Detail oriented and deadline driven
• Excellent administrative skills
• Understanding of office management procedures and departmental and legal policies
• Providing on the job training or mentoring to new employee / performance evaluations and handle disciplinary actions and processes for their staff.

Salary R20, 000 – R25, 000 pm CTC, negotiable with the experience
