The purpose of the role is to lead a support team that ensures that operations are functioning at a high level by supervising all the ancillary company support functions. This includes the delivery of materials, supplies, equipment and services to meet company and project requirements within budget and schedule for both fabrication and sites.Procurement duties will be to ensure that we always spend as cost effective as possible.

Requirements:
*Grade 12 or technical equivalent
*Experience in Management and Procurement
*Stores and Storekeeping experience and training advantageous
*Management related training advantages
*5+ years of experience in a technical related field
*Driver's License: Code B
*Good working knowledge of General Machinery Regulations.
*Good working knowledge of motors, vehicles, equipment operation
*Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, email proficient
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Proven ability to lead a diverse team

Responsibilities:
*Co-ordinate and monitor department staff, resources and prioritization.
*Employee relations including training and developing staff in terms of company quality stands and technical skills required to perform tasks
*Manage effective systems to control time, cost and quality.
*Department performance management with monthly reporting and setting targets
*Ensure compliance to all aspects of Health, Safety and Environment.
*Implement and maintain ISO9001 Principles and procedures to ensure conformance to company Quality Management System.
*Control and management of Company resources including :
*Tools and Equipment – issuing, returns, purchasing, repairs
*Vehicles and fleet management (35 vehicles) including scheduled servicing repairs, cost control, reporting on expenses.
*Stock – full control of Company held stock including purchasing, issuing and routine stock take
*Engineering material purchasing – negotiating with suppliers, cost control, ensuring quality of goods purchased
*Phantom Stock Control – control, return and holding of goods and material returned from sites
*Logistics and deliveries
*Building and Premises
*Security
*Vehicle Fleet Management
