Job Description:

General ledger maintenance
Journal processing
Balance sheet reconciliations
Fixed asset administration
Statutory Compliance.
Statutory compliance entails European activities which include VAT, Intrastat, SOX controls, Waste reporting, Income tax, National statistic & National Bank reporting, local Financial Statements and external audit management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Accounting / Senior Book keeping certificate and relevant experience
SAICA or SAIPA articles
General ledger processing
Balance sheet reconciliations
2 years financial accounting experience
Advanced level of excel proficiency using excel to manipulate Big data
Strong focus on process automation
Experience working on European countries particularly UK
Inventory recording
MS Excel, word, outlook
SAP / Oracle
HFM / BFC
Blackline
Good English communication skills, written and telephonic
Advantageous: Speak a foreign language particularly Dutch, German and/or French
