POSITION: IR & HR OFFICER

STORE LOCATIONS: RUSTENBURG STORE - THREE STAR CASH & CARRY.

PLACEMENT: ASAP -IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE

REGIONAL AREA: NORTH WEST REGION.

SALARY RANGE: R 15 000 – R20 000 per month CTC.
STARTING DATE: Asap

Introduction:
We currently have a vacancy for an experienced FMCG IR / HR Professional within the Rustenburg Store for our HR Department as the on site representative. The ideal person needs to be a proactive, dynamic team player, that will be a participative member of the management team at store for the Wholesale and Retail (FMCG) trading entity.
We are looking for a a specific individual that will add value and bring discipline and control to the business unit.

Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of HR and IR procedures and a sound reasoning approach to the business.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Included but not limited to):
• Manage employee conduct, actions and performance on a daily basis inline with the Company Disciplinary procedure and guide;
• Ensure store employee conduct is inline with the required duties of the employees;
• Manage employee absence, Awol and conduct on a daily basis;
• Carrying out of the execution of Industrial Action – warnings, reporting, hearings and grievances / queries address timeously;
• Ensuring that employee behaviour is inline with the Code of Conduct;
• Ensuring employees are issued with the required contract of employment and inline with the Sectoral Determination Act 9 of the BCEA;
• Ensuring that employees continually perform to the required expectation in order to meet the business needs;
• Ensuring that weekly checks on time sheets are performed against the payroll time keeping system;
• Managing staff queries daily at store level and interaction with management of employee’s concerns;
• Managing the staff scheduling planner inline with the Operations and Floor Management and Store requirements;
• Managing IR activities from issuing warnings at store level, managing attendance and absence, controlling the actions to be taken on overages and underage’s;
• Managing Discipline throughout the business;
• Drafting reports and feedback to management on store activities as required on a Daily, Weekly and Monthly basis;
• Statutory reporting in terms of Compliance and Audits (IOD, OHSA and Covid reporting);
• Managing the full disciplinary process of actions from warnings, hearings, grievances and to dismissals.
Adhoc :
• Able to manage the Store Payroll and the Employee queries at store on a daily, weekly and monthly basis;
• Addressing any payroll queries on a monthly basis and ensuring transactional HR and Payroll work addressed at store;
• Ensuring that the employee files are up to date;
• Inputting the payroll activities onto the payroll system for FLOOR;
• Ensuring that day to day HR, Payroll and IR functions addressed proactively.

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Similar Role;
• Must have understanding and experiencing in execution of actions inline with the LRA, BCEA and in particular the SD9;
• Managing employee activities daily and monthly;
• Managing communication to and from management and staff on a daily basis;
• A tertiary qualification would be advantageous;
• Payroll experience is a requirement and if worked on Psiber payroll would be favour the application;
• Must be willing to be flexible in the hours of work when the need arises over month end and also pay date processing.

Specific Additional Requirements:
• Must have own reliable transport (Preferable);
• Would you be happy with a HR / IR / Payroll Officer that is between the two stores;
• Must be willing to work Monday to Saturday’s due to the nature of the business;
• Able to work stock takes when required;
• Must be willing to work in the store and have daily interaction with the Floor employees.
