IT N+ Certification
3 years’ experience in the installation and maintenance of electronics / communication / security equipment
Sound knowledge of access control systems
Advanced experience of TCP / IP protocol
Diploma in Information Technology Advantage
PSIRA registration - Advantage
MCSE Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer / MCSA Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Advantage
Sound experience of IP surveillance system hardware and software and Ethernet networks - Computer literate (MS Office Suite)
Valid drivers’ licence
Experience in install, configure and maintain video management software; access control equipment; cameras, access control software
Experience gained in access control profiles and surveillance profiles.
This role will install, maintain and manage security systems for the Company. Continuously analyse equipment efficiencies to recommend or implement improvements to maximise production.
Provide subject matter expertise and skills in area of responsibility; advising on solutions to enhance or ensure the effectiveness of the Department/section.
Maintain and configure Babylon Security Access Control Server.
Maintain and configure Security Surveillance Cameras and Servers.
Install, maintain and configure K32, access card readers, alcohol breathalysers.
Install, maintain and configure surveillance cameras.
Install network cabling for access control system.
Install network cabling for surveillance system.
Co-ordinate and monitor equipment availability to ensure adherence to production parameters.
Carry out repairs, maintenance and preventative maintenance work on all security systems to comply with product technical specifications.
Investigate and diagnose problems and breakdowns to determine resource requirements and maintain acceptable spare part stock levels.
Establish and maintain good working relationships and an effective / sound communication system within the operation.
Manage and report on non-compliance issues.
