A reputable company based in Mount Edgecombe is seeking the perfect candidate to fill an IT Desktop Support Engineer role
Minimum Qualifications:
• 1 year+ experience in a similar role essential
• IT Diploma, A+, N+ (advantageous but experience will be considered) Computer Literate, MS Office
Job Responsibilities:
• Handling Helpdesk support tickets within SLA Installing and managing Windows 7/10 Diagnose & repair desktop hardware faults.
• Installing/managing/troubleshooting applications (In-house applications and other like MS Office etc)
• Managing Users, Computers, Groups and GPO in AD Basic windows networking
• Cable patching
• Basic command prompt scripting Installing/managing/troubleshooting Printers (MFP) and print server PC moves and setups.
Competencies Required:
• Fundamental networking skills essential
• Microsoft Windows troubleshooting skills & experience Application administration experience
• Call centre experience beneficial
• Additional Competency Testing
• People’s person, energetic, goal oriented, self-motivated and excellent time keeping.
Working Hours - (Mon- Fri / Mon –Sat):
• Shift Work.
• Early shift: 7:30 – 4pm Late shift: 9:30 – 6pm
• Required to work rotational Saturday shift 7:30-13:00.
