Our client is looking for an IT Network Engineer to maintain the network and server infrastructure in its totality both onsite and for the resorts (off-site).

Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance of network functionality
Server maintenance
Firewall management and control
Anti-virus software
Third party software applications loaded on the servers
Internet connectivity and security
Telephone management system
Rebooting of servers every Monday morning to clear memory stack
Preparation of proposals for all network, operating systems and/or hardware changes to ITM for review and approval
Register of hardware and users
Register of software applications
Backup to IT desktop support technician
Version Control of external packages
Anti-Virus Software compliance and update on servers
Monitoring and engaging of external support required as authorised by ITM
Installation on servers
Communications relating to any network upgrades or down time
End user applications compliance with software licensing
Identification of network errors through help desk
Correction of immediate solution, if possible
Investigation of solutions, if necessary.
Presenting of required solution and related costs to ITM for authorisation
Implementation of solution
Backup compliance plan
Running of daily backup procedures
Rotation of backup media
Maintenance of backup register
Off-site storage of backups
Resort backup procedures and reporting of completed backups
Maintenance of resort backup register
Maintain server performance by the regular executing of performance management applications
