Our client requires the services of a solution driven and technically strong individual to provide infrastructure, application deployment and monitoring of company products.

Key performance areas:

? Ensuring all servers and applications assigned are running smoothly.
? Inform Development Team if software issues are identified.
? Support services to resolve issues.
? Server administration.
? Troubleshooting.
? Collect Server and Application Statistics.
? Infrastructure monitoring.
? Automated deployment.
? Azure cloud management.
? Database administration.

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Sciences / BEng or relevant tertiary qualification
? 3 - 5 years relevant experience in systems administration.
? Must have 3 - 5 years’ experience in Linux systems administration.
? Must have 1 - 2 years’ experience in Azure cloud management.
? Must have 2 - 5 years’ experience in Scripting and automation.
? 2 - 4 years’ experience in Database administration.
? Problem solving skills.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
? Positive, results orientated attitude and willingness to learn.
? Strong sense of ownership and ability to use your own initiative.
? Willing to work in a highly collaborative team-based environment.
? Ability to learn and master employer-specific software for support purposes.
? Ability to diagnose & address technical issues.
? Accept responsibility to finish an assigned task with great care and quality.
