We are currently recruiting for an IT Recruiter or Technical Recruiter to take up a role within an established and very dynamic non-profit organisation that operates in the tech space (Tech Career Accelerator). Based in one of the oldest programmes which started out in 2008, you will be part of a very dynamic team who run multiple projects nationally (currently liaising with approximate 150 corporates in South Africa). They are one of the biggest Career Accelerators in South Africa at the moment. Because this position operates in the tech space, we are ideally looking for someone from the IT / Digital / Tech recruitment and account management sectors. The role reports to the Head of Skills Development and will be accountable for managing graduates / interns on various project and corporate sites. This is an Employment Equity position.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum Matric (coupled with relevant and extensive experience)
• A relevant tertiary qualification will be ideal
• Minimum 4 to 5 years’ experience in IT / Digital / Tech industry dealing with Recruitment or Graduate Programmes and Account Management.
• Skilled and knowledgeable in liaising with clients in IT / Digital industry environment
• Experienced and skilled in managing staff or graduates on various sites
• Must have own transport with a valid driver's licence
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build relationships with Recruiters, Hiring Managers and HR departments at Client Companies (Corporate Stakeholders and Clients)
• Manage and develop a database of host companies, identifying demand for skills and feeding back to programme and product development teams
• Liaise with companies regarding their requirements and match relevant candidates to the identified opportunities
• Gather evidence in line with reporting requirements and obtain feedback on learner performance
• Actively share and communicate relevant information pertaining to placement activities with stakeholders periodically during the life of the program
• Prepare and present to potential host companies and others as required (Presentations)
• Build positive relationships with candidates and the candidate managers, understanding skills and requirements to better fit them to host companies and placement opportunities
• Develop relationships with existing customers, partners and their member firms to widen host company network
• Plan, manage, monitor and direct placement interventions, working closely with the programme team to align activity to their project plans and the Operational Plan
• Run information events for candidates interested in the placements on offer
• Work with Recruitment Managers to support effective candidate selection activity for each intake in line with host company demand
• Manage the interview process where relevant on behalf of host companies, working closely with relevant hiring managers, HR partners etc.
• Manage and control placement reporting, evidence collection and provide insight for project reports and success factors.
• Control all administration processes relating to candidate placement
