Key responsibilities of the role:
Proficient with all Microsoft platforms as well as MAC support
Intimate knowledge of all Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Desktop OS Products.
Strong in all areas of networks (WAN/LAN, Fibre and wireless).
Ability to debug hardware, software, and network problems.
Experience with Fortigate and Meraki firewall applications, VPNs, and other security solutions.
Experience with Ubiquiti UniFi equipment and troubleshooting.
Experience with Yealink equipment and Euphoria VoIP solutions.
Windows Server Hardware installation and management.
Windows and Virtual Server installation and configuration.
Strong Windows desktop troubleshooting skills.
End-user support and Atera Ticket management.
Knowledge of Google Workspace Applications Beneficial.
Knowledge of Pastel Accounting Software is beneficial.
Ensure that preventative maintenance is performed according to schedule.
Assist in other Facilities operations as requested by the IT Manager.
Able to demonstrate excellent customer focus.
Enhance your proficiency in product knowledge to your advantage.
Able to assist, grow, and teach junior and mid-level technicians.
Key requirements of the role:
4+ years of substantial experience as an IT Technician.
Matric qualification or equivalent certificate.
South African citizens with valid ID and foreigners need a passport along with a valid Permit.
Excellent skills in written communication, phone, and presentation.
Self-motivated, Strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, and sense of urgency.
