IT SYSTEM MANAGER

Leading Retail Organization seeks a suitably qualified / experienced IT System Manager to join their dynamic team!
Salary: Negotiable (Including Corporate benefits)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Matric
• Relevant IT Qualification (Degree / Diploma)
• Min 2 – 4 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the Retail Sector.
• SQL Script Writing
• Retail experience working with Point of Sales systems
• Experience with SAP
• Python knowledge
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Professional, customer focused / service driven with solutions orientated mindset
• Good report writing skills
• Willing to go the extra mile to ensure operational outcomes of Business is met
• Valid Driver’s License and own reliable transport

Duties / Responsibilities will include:

Helpdesk\Support
• Monitoring /follow up on support calls with Company service desk as well as 3rd Party Helpdesk Development
• Report writing
• Analysing / investigating data queries – Excel knowledge / SQL
• Ensure that agreed procedures for change requests are adhered to by Company members and Point of sale supplier
• Ensure that Company requirements/requests are met in any new release of point of sale software
• Document any changes to point of sale software to ensure that members/regional IT is up to date

Projects
• Co-ordinate implementation of new development at store level from 3rd Party providers
• Assist with system integration/implementation between Point of Sale and Company systems
