SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
• National Diploma A+
• At least two years relevant experience
• Well organized and good planning skills
• Be able to liaise with internal customers – good communication skills
• Be able to do basic networking RJ45 connections and installation of cables
• Be willing to do stand-by / rotating shifts
• Knowledge of general technical / computer hardware support
• Customer orientated
• Excellent knowledge of Outlook/ Excel
• Be willing to learn and a positive attitude
• Knowledge of Meat Matrix will be an added advantage

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor and respond to client inquiries and support requests via phone, email, web forum etc
• Reports to IT Supervisor
• Maintain relevant documentation on client interactions
• Provide technical support or basic training to client and staff as and when required
• Escalates customer issues which cannot be resolved with concise description
• Follows customer issues through to completion to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction have been achieved
• Sets and load computer equipment with required items and prepares computer equipment for operation
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and correct as per relevant specification and procedure
