Duties:

• Receiving incidents and analysing issues from customers
• Resolving the issue independently where possible
• Otherwise reaching out to 3rd Level / Dev team to provide a solution for the customer
• Creating problem tickets where a quick solution is not possible, or a reoccurring issue is happening.
• Analysing this problem and trying to find a permanent solution with the 3rd Level / Dev team.
• Transferring operations defects into Jira
• Document operations task in Jira and Confluence
• Conduct changes (software, infrastructure changes) with the help of the Dev team
• Providing a status to the internal Operation Manager (IT PDO) on a weekly / bi-weekly base
• Keeping the application and its configuration items up to date in the CMDB
• Updating the Operations Manual when releases take place
• Working with PIC (Problem, Incident and Change) processes
• Proactively resolving operations issues focusing on delivering permanent solutions.
• Travel internationally
• Meet with end users and gather requirements.
• Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements
• Preparation of system/technical documentation (as per ISO standards)
• User training
• System testing/parallel runs (smoke tests after deployments)
• System audits/quality assurance
