Junior Mechanical Engineer required in the Swellendam District, to drive, design, construct, commission and hand over various on-site and off-site projects. Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with some experience as Mechanical Engineer in the FMCG market. Some experience with Mechanical & Process Design, P&ID, Commissioning, Project Execution and Project Management will be an advantage.

Responsibilities
• Onsite construction, implementation, and supervision of various projects.
• Onsite commissioning of engineering projects.
• Assist the Project Engineer in any project engineering activities.
• Contribute to the continuous optimization of the production process.
• Draft manuals and procedures as required within the department.
• Always ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements
• BTech/ BEng or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 1 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering in FMCG
• Experience in Mechanical Design, P&ID and Project Management will be an advantage
• Experience in Commissioning and Project Execution will be an advantage
• Overtime and standby work are required from time to time
• Computer literate
