Overview

We have a vacancy for a Junior Sous Chef that has experience in running a sophisticated and high pressure environment in Stellenbosch

Minimum Requirements & Key Duties

A diploma in professional cookery and a minimum of 5 years’ experience * strong leadership ability * excellent organisational skills * hungry attitude towards growth and experience

• Excellent control of food cost, wastage, and kitchen preparation
• A creative approach to food
• Guest & supplier liaison
• Coaching, training and disciplining of staff
• Must be able to handle constructive criticism
• Maintains a structured, clean, and hygienic kitchen environment
• Manage the kitchen in a controlled fashion

Remuneration
R12 000 - R15 000 pm

Start Date: Immediately
