Junior Chef | Nelspruit | 4 Star Game Lodge

We are currently looking for a JUNIOR CHEF to join this intimate family-owned 4 star property nestled among the rolling mountains of the Lowveld in the heart of Mpumalanga. It is a small team that requires hands-on approach and an eye for detail.

As ideal Candidate you will have:

Chef certificate or hospitality diploma/qualifications
Food & Beverage experience/qualifications
1 Year practical experience in restaurant/lodge/hotel kitchen
Eager and willing to learn and develop
Outgoing, warm, friendly personality
Well presented, Honest, Diligent and self-motivated
Fluent in English
Driving License will be an advantage
Previous Experience in Game Lodge industry
Primary Duties:

Cooking & food preparation of Breakfast, Lunches and Dinners to 4* standard
Stock taking
Kitchen hygiene – ensuring clean and tidy at start and end of each day
Ability and willingness to work in whatever area necessary
Salary Package

R6 000, negotiable and market related depending on experience and qualification
Live in with shared ablution and kitchen
Utilities include (water, gas, electricity and internet)
Starting date: ASAP
