QUALIFICATION:

Matric
Engineering: Electrical Diploma
ECSA Candidate (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE:

3 Years Minimum Experience (Non Negotiable)
Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research; applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
Confirms system's and components' capabilities of each project requirement.
Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
Develop and interpret engineering schematic drawings and information.
Develop and complete products or materials datasheets, loop drawings, controllers, network requirements and software specifications.
Commissioning, configuration and setting up of soft starters and drives.
Analyse, interpret technical specifications and generate electrical design as per specifications.
Draught, and specify material for manufacturing and installation.
Calculate, design and specify electrical back-up power systems, supervise installation
and commissioning, setup generator controller systems and train clients on electrical systems.
Compile overall project documents and equipment manuals with drawings.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

AutoCAD.
Design Electrical systems, especially MCC’s
Computer Aided Design Systems and Tools
Control and Instrumentation Design
Soft Starters and Drives setup and commissioning
Commissioning of Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Systems
Diesel generators and automatic generator starting system
Knowledge of transformers
Knowledge of MS Office

Contract length: 6 months to go perm based on performance
