IT software Business and Systems Knowledge and Experience
Experience of technical aspects of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
ETL (Pentaho or other)
Experience in SQL type databases such as Postgres, SQL Server, MySQL, and Hadoop
Programming languages experience, such as SQL, Oracle and Python
Experience in analyse, model and interpret data
Experience in plan work and meet deadlines
Experience in Collecting and interpreting data and analysing the results
Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish requirements
Defining new data collection and analysis processes
Experience in data models and reporting packages
Experience to write comprehensive report
Work with IT software development teams, internal IT and client services managers according to the required processes to obtain requirements and deliver data requirements
Participate in tasks through each of the key areas of the SDLC, including classification, prioritisation, business requirements, design, estimation, testing, user training and deployments
Software System and system environment administration, release management and configuration
Use statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts
Prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
Designing and maintaining data systems and databases; this includes fixing coding errors and other data-related problems.
Mining data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganizing said data in a format that can be easily read by either human or machine.
Collects data on sales numbers, systems data, market research, logistics, linguistics, or other behaviours. To bring technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of that data, then process, design and present it in ways to help people, businesses, and organisations make better decisions.
Works to understand the reporting requirements of the clients and then liaises with the development teams to understand where and how to extract that data and present it to the clients in order to fulfil the requirements in a timely manner.
