Audience Development Manager
Funky Corporate exhibition and networking organisation, with a large South African and African footprint seeks the expertise of an Audience Development Manager.
The exhibitions and shows run by the organisation are attended by thousands of corporates and individuals annually and the role entails increasing this footprint and ensuring a meaningful and impactful experience for these attendees.
The role will report into the Sales and Marketing department and well as Operational lines of the company and this means that in line with expo’s, shows and campaigns that are running throughout the year the Audience Development Manager must ensure cohesion and alignment.
This is a new role within the organisation and the successful incumbent will be given the reigns to make this role theirs and use their out of the box thinking to ensure success.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
Online/ digital presence - i.e. - survey’s, feedback, audience interaction
Audience engagement – i.e. -interaction apps – development research, idea’s, campaigns, strategy
Increase footprint at shows – how? Who? Strategy, implement
Statistics and audience profile – how to we gather this, what do we do with his information – strategy, planning and implementation
Media coverage – where, when - strategy and implement

Experience required:
Degree (Marketing)
A recently graduated marketing guru/ graduate
Well spoken
Own car
Reside in Midrand (ideal)
At least 6 months experience in a corporate – preferably expo/ events environment
Quantitative and Qualitative passion, stats and ability to understand marketing lingo etc
Creative and fun
Passionate and hard working

On offer:
R10 000 – R12 000 per month CTC
