RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain and adhere to the required Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
Do modelling and prototyping of new designs to test their viability before undergoing production.
Will initially be responsible for training dealers in product knowledge along with the Field Service Application Manager but eventually be solely responsible for thereof.
Ensure all operations adhere to the relevant legislation, guidelines, and ISO requirements.
Ensure that the company’s machinery and equipment comply with the OHS Act in terms of electricity standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

BSc/B.Eng/BTech (Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering) or higher required
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent problem-solving ability
Good eye-hand coordination (in working with small parts such as wires, and circuits to install and repair them)
Physical ability with high energy for site work and visits.
Ability to interpret and apply technical specifications as contained in technical drawings related to the specific manufacturing environment;
Ability to read and practically apply electrical details (as contained in technical drawings) in the installation process as it relates to the specific job; and
Ability to identify machine electrical faults and allocate the right resources to remedy the faults.
